Most commonly worn for foiling, Dinghy sailing helmets are extremely important when it comes to keeping yourself safe when you're going fast or even just when you are not a very competent sailor. Helmets protect you from the boom if you inadvertently gybe or the mast and shrouds if you have a sudden stop whilst foiling.
